This
gallery deals with various subjects some are obscure. The major area of work
is involved with the meeting of Death and the soldier on the battlefield. Conceived
as a Triptych, the left panel sees Death on horseback riding up along a falling
rider, the right panel Death embraces the soldier on the field and in the center
is the modern soldier standing dazed between Life and Death. It evolved over
his lifetime, a lifetime filled with wars and revolutions. The idea that there
is both violence and tenderness in the encounter came from a scene he witnessed
on a Berlin street corner, I'll tell you more about that later.
It should be obvious that this site is far from complete so bear with us, and come back soon.
